Each unit consists of 50g of Gold tesserae, which are approx 40-50 tiles, depending on variety in size.
Each tessera is approx 10x10 mm in size. The thickness is approx 4 mm.
To cover 1 square metre you will need approx 7840 Tesserae.
This was very difficult to photograph, in reality it is more black.
