Pigments are powders of small, insoluble, highly tinted granules. They are ground from oxides and minerals. To work with pigments you need a binder, such as grout.
You can add pigments to grout or cement base adhesives to create your own custom colour.
Usually you would not add more than 10% to ensure the grout does not weaken. They are frost resistant, UV-A resistant and suitable for indoors and outdoors.
Pigments are available in 25, 50 and 100 gram. At the moment 25 and 50 gram are available in small jars with a lid and 100 gram are available in a plastic bag.
You only need a small amount for your desired effect.
Sift dry pigment and grout together thoroughly before adding water to ensure a consistent mix.
Note: Do not pour pigments down a drain.
